2024 Foal Stallion and Purchase Information
Thank you for your interest in our foals. The foals will start arriving in May.
The sire of our 2024 foals is 14.2 hand registered, black and white Gypsy Vanner Stallion “Wildfire’s Whole Lotta Chrome,” aka “Harley.” An own grandson of the stallion, “Bob the Blagdon.” You can view more information on him by searching his name on Facebook to find his page. Most of our mares are between 16 and 17 hands, with a couple over 17 hands.
You can expect between 15 and 16 hand maturity out of these foals. Our foals are range raised babies and are brought in at weaning time in the fall for halter breaking and ground work. Each foal will have basic halter training and trailer loading. We will be asking between $3000 and $5000 for our foals again this year. We will take care of necessary coggins tests, health certificates, and brand releases needed for shipment across state lines. Our foals sell GRADE. Our reasonable prices reflect this fact. If a buyer would like to register them with the Gypsy Horse Association or the Spotted Draft Association, it is the responsibility of the buyer. Buyer is also responsible for lining up shipment of their foal.
We require a $500 non refundable deposit with a signed contract to hold a foal until weaning at 5 months. Remaining balance due at or before shipment. We DO NOT board foals and ask that you make arrangements for pickup or shipment within 2 weeks of the foal weaning. Boarding fees of $15 per day will be charged if the foal is not picked up in a timely manner.

Our son Roper has consigned his 5 Yr Old Buckskin Gelding to the Fall 2023 Hermanson/Kist Horse Sale to be held in Mandan, ND. He will sell Saturday September 16. He is lot# 1345. Roper raised this gelding from a weanling and broke him to ride. He has put more miles on this gelding in his first five years than many horses get in their lifetime. The Snaffle Bit Ranch has put the time and work into this mare to make her into the amazing mare she is today. She knows more as a 5 year old than most horses learn in a lifetime. Our F1 cockapoo puppies are very popular in the North Dakota and surrounding states. They are extremely intelligent, loyal, and patient making them a great choice for families with children as well as service and therapy dogs. The mothers of our cockapoos are our cocker spaniel females and their father is our 10# miniature poodle. Their average adult weight is between 13-24#. The intentional combination of the cocker spaniel and the poodle creates a breed that is well-tolerated by allergy sufferers and low/non shedding, low/odor-free coats. We are a no-dock breeder. Our puppies are all in-house raised with our children to be well socialized as well as get a great start on potty training. Each of our puppies receive age appropriate deworming and vaccinations along with health checkups administered by our veterinarian at 6 weeks. Each puppy will go home with a puppy pack filled with puppy care essentials such and detailed information about our home routine to help ease their transition into your home. We will keep our puppy families updated with pictures as their little one grows throughout the first 8 weeks as well as provide continued support to our puppy families once you take your new little one home. In 2016, Diana and Jerry of the Battle Axe Ranch purchased our black Drum weanling stud colt, Wildfire’s King. They raised him up and put many hours of training into him until this 2020 fall, when they chose to offer him up for sale with a reserve price in mind. King was consigned to an online sale in Billings, Montana and he became the top sale horse of the sale. King brought $20,000 & found a new home in Virginia. We are extremely proud to be his breeder and excited for Diana and Jerry. King is an example of the quality horses we raise. Think ahead and dream big when you purchase one of our foals!
Pomapoos and Toy Aussiedoodles
Toy Aussiedoodles expected end of May 2024!! All pictures below are of past litters. If you are interested in either breed, please contact us. Both breeds are a “hybrid” intentionally bred to create a breed that is non/low shedding, well-tolerated by people with allergies, virtually odor-free, loyal, and extremely intelligent making them easy to train. Both breeds should mature to around 9-12#. We are not kennel breeders. Our dogs are part of our family. We in-house raise our puppies with our children and a cat so they will be well socialized from day one. Each puppy will receive deworming at 4 weeks and at 6 weeks along with our veterinarian administered age appropriate vaccinations and health checks. We are a no dock breeder. We will provide updated pictures and growth information each week as your puppy grows. Each puppy will get a great start on potty training as well as started on crate training and sleeping. You will also receive a handbook in advance to help you prepare your family and homes for your new addition. Each puppy will also go to their new homes with their bed, blanket, and puppy pack filled with puppy care essentials to help ease their transition from my home to yours.
